Gender Diversity Awards
Through the 'Recognizing Gender Diversity at Workplace' award we acknowledge the efforts made by companies in creating an enabling and inclusive workplace for women in the past year. In this regard, following are the categories of awards for the fiscal year 2024:
1. Recognizing Gender Diversity at Workplace Award 2024 - Corporates
2. Recognizing Gender Diversity at Workplace Award 2024 - Banks
3. Recognizing Gender Diversity at Workplace Award 2024 - NBFCs
A committee of judges will evaluate the companies on measures such as workplace representation of women in the company, enabling workplace culture for women, gender diversity policies and special initiative(s) taken by the company to empower women.
ESG Reporting Award
The award recognizes organizations that showcase the best ESG performance for the year. It is important that sufficient ESG related disclosures are available for investors to judge the ESG policies of companies and make effective investment decisions. ESG is a criteria that stands for environmental, social, and governance, and top-level companies benchmark their performance against it.
A committee of judges will evaluate the following aspects of ESG based on information provided by companies:
1. Corporate Level Strategy
2. Environmental Management
3. Social Management
4. Governance
Investor Relations Awards
The Investor Relations Awards recognize those listed entities that demonstrate high standards in communicating with shareholders and analysts. The categories for this year include:
1. Best Investor Relations Award FY2023 – Financial Institutions
2. Best Investor Relations Award FY2023 – Corporates
The results of this year's awards will be derived from a combination of analyst survey and evaluation of company information by the judges committee on measures such as details of dissemination of financials, analyst briefings, quality of annual report, quality of accounting disclosures, openness to disclose relevant information to analysts, and accessibility to company IR representatives etc.
Corporate Finance Awards
Every year, Investment Banks and Brokerage Firms are recognized by CFA Society Pakistan for the Corporate Finance and Investment Banking transactions conducted during the year. In this regard, following are the categories of awards for the calendar year 2023:
1. Best Corporate Finance House of the Year 2023 - Fixed Income
2. Best Corporate Finance House of the Year 2023 - Equity & Advisory
3. Transaction of the Year 2023
A committee of judges will evaluate the nominations based on measures such as number of transactions, value of transactions, complexity of transactions, innovation in transactions, the tenor of transactions and sector diversity.
Brokerage Awards
The brokerage awards recognize those brokerage firms that have demonstrated high standards and performance in the past year. In this regard, following are the categories of awards for the fiscal year 2023:
1. Best Research Report Award of the Year FY2024
2. Best Equity Brokerage House of the Year FY2024
3. Best Equity Trader of the Year FY2024
4. Best Research Analyst of the Year FY2024
5. Best Economic Research House of the Year FY2024
The results of this year's awards will be derived from a combination of industry survey, survey of Jury, and evaluation of quantitative information within the category of operations, research and sales as provided by the firms.
The research report and research analyst awards will be evaluated on measure such as investment case and analysis, financial analysis, valuation, reader friendliness, risks etc.
Best Asset Management Company Awards
The Asset Management Awards are designed to recognize the outstanding performance of investment companies in the past year. AMCs are an integral part of the capital markets that deserve to be recognized for their efforts.
A committee of judges will evaluate the companies based on measures such as ownership structure, organizational structure, digital customer services, AUMs growth, funds' performance, product diversification and financial profile etc.
Banking Awards
The Banking Awards recognize the commercial, Islamic, microfinance and digital banks that set new-benchmarks in the financial sector through their performance, growth, and positive impact on the national economy. In this regard, following are the categories of the awards for the calendar year 2023:
1. Best Bank of the Year 2023 (Large-size Banks)
2. Best Bank of the Year 2023 (Mid-size Banks)
3. Best Microfinance Bank of the Year 2023
4. Best Islamic Bank of the Year 2023
5. Best Digital Banking Services Award 2023
A committee of judges will evaluate the banks on several factors including profitability, efficiency, growth, risk management, solvency, governance and social, digital innovation and financial inclusion.
The evaluation of digital bank category includes measures such as customer reach, digital banking activity, digital banking infrastructure, service quality and profitability.
