Speaker Opportunities

CFA Society Baltimore offers many unique events throughout the year that are attended by hundreds of investment management professionals. These gatherings are invaluable ways for you and your organization to share your knowledge of, and passion for, excellence in investment management.
The Society welcomes dynamic speakers who can offer solution-oriented expertise on issues facing investment management professionals and leaders. By presenting at one of CFA Society Baltimore's many events throughout the year (as a sole presenter or panelist), you have a special opportunity to connect with your colleagues, share concrete knowledge, and discuss big ideas. CFA Society Baltimore is open to sessions that are creatively structured to take advantage of the power of peer interaction.
Corporate members are encouraged to co-present with others from different firms to offer multiple perspectives on a given topic. While being a CFA Society Baltimore member does not guarantee a speaking slot, preference is given to society members over non-members, and CFA charterholders over non-charterholders, when selecting presenters.
If you would like to become a potential speaker at CFA Society Baltimore events, please contact Robyn Osten at rosten@baltimorecfasociety.org.

    2nd Annual Golf Tournament

    Sep 23, 07:30 AM - 03:00 PM (ET)
CFA Society Baltimore is thrilled to announce our second annual golf tournament, which will take place on Monday, September 23 at 9 AM. Last year's inaugural tournament was a huge success with 70 golfers participating. We are excited to bring back the tournament again this year! This 18-hole four-person scramble at the Woodlands Golf Course promises a day of friendly competition, enjoyment, and networking. Join our local investment community for this fantastic event.   The Woodlands takes golfers on a scenic journey through a world of tall, hardwood trees that guard the lush Bent Grass fairways and large, undulating greens of the course's enjoyable yet challenging 18 holes. Designed by renowned golf course architect Lindsay Ervin, The Woodlands opened in 1998 to critical acclaim. Ervin himself said The Woodlands "truly ranks as my best design," and Washington Golf Monthly called it "the best public course in the Baltimore suburbs." Golf Digest has rated The Woodlands a "Four Star Places to Play Award Winner."   We are excited to offer the following inclusions with every registration: greens fees, golf cart, practice balls, continental breakfast, on-course snacks & drinks including beer, soda, water, chips, crackers, and hot dogs, BBQ lunch, including wine and beer, and a thank you gift.   Join us for a day of fun and excitement with the following schedule: 7:30 AM: Check-in opens, practice your swing at the range and enjoy a continental breakfast 8:45 AM: Welcome and Pre-round Announcements 9:00 AM: Shotgun Start 1:30 PM: BBQ Lunch 2:00 PM: Awards Ceremony 3:00 PM: Conclusion
