CFA Society Pittsburgh is excited to announce our 10th annual CFA Society Pittsburgh Career Fair - Investing in the Future, a day of networking and career development education targeted to the greater Pittsburgh area's current and future investment and finance professionals. The event will take place at the Rivers Club, 301 Grant Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15219, on September 11th, 2024, and we’d be thrilled if your university would participate by sending its top 10 senior or graduate school students along with a faculty member.
CFA Society Pittsburgh Career Fair - Investing in the Future will feature sessions on the CFA Program, resume writing and interviewing tips, pointers on how to network successfully, a panel of HR representatives and hiring managers to answer the tough questions from attendees, and a final session allowing participants a chance to meet and network with representatives of local firms and recruiters.
To develop meaningful career contacts and provide our exhibitors with only the best talent, CFA Society Pittsburgh is extending the invitation to just ten students from each university. To accomplish this, we ask you to identify your ten best finance, accounting, or economics students and send them to CFA Society Pittsburgh Career Fair - Investing in the Future or provide their contact information to CFA Pittsburgh. Each university may include a faculty member, such as a department chair or career services employee. CFA Society Pittsburgh realizes this event may coincide with scheduled classes, but we strongly encourage you to excuse students and allow them to attend. Rarely do they have an opportunity to receive top career advice and network with future employers and peers.
Registration for students will begin at 11:30 a.m., followed by a CFA Program presentation at 12:00 p.m. Panel discussions will run from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm. Open networking will follow at 4:00 p.m., hosted by our Emerging Leaders Group (ELG). The CFA Society Pittsburgh will provide light appetizers and beverages. We request that university-affiliated attendees are there for the entire program.
